Mount Kailash is holiest place for Buddhist, Hindu, Jain and Bon believers where thousands of thousands of people visit every year. Mansarovar Lake is very beautiful lake located in Tibet, China. According to the Hindu Mythology, Hindu’s deity Shiva lives on the peak of Mt. Kailash, Where he stays for contemplation with his wife Parvati, and daughter of Himalaya. This is the most sacred place and the final destination of soul and religious hub of the world. Similar to Kailash, Manosarovar Lake is the symbol of clarity and Purity. It is considered as the sacred place of pilgrimage, which attracts Hindus people from all corners of the world. Those who take a bath in this sacred lake and drinks the water of it is assumed to rinse out all sins. The natural and magnificent beauty of these sacred religious spots is really exciting and instills in people the sensation of being with Lord Shiva. Every year in May to June, Saga Dawa Festival happens. Saga Dawa Festival is one of the most important Festivals in Tibet which is mainly dedicated to Mount Kailash.  According to the Buddhist literary sources, Saga Dawa festival is celebrated to highlight the day when Sakyamuni (Buddha) attained the enlightenment.

Day 1

Day 01: Drive: Kathmandu-Kerung (2800m) (165km drive)

Early in the morning you’ll pickup from a point and drive heading Kathmandu past farm village and towns with views of snowcapped peaks and then reaching at cooler areas within Langtang Himal in Dhunche 1,900m hight a main and headquarter town of Rasuwa district around Langtang area populated by Tamang People the hill tribe Nepal. From here drive downhill to Syabrubesi, the door to Langtang Ganesh and into Tamang Heritage Trail and and as well to Tibet border, here we will meet our Tibetan Guide after completing immigration& custom formalities on both side of the frontier Nepal and Tibet, continue drive further to Kerung country with first overnight stop in Tibet accommodation at Local Hotel.

Day 2

Day 02: Drive: Kyirung- Saga (4640m) (397km drive)

After Breakfast drive to Kyirung on the way you will enjoy the view of beautiful snow capped mountain and evergreen forest as you pass Tongla Pass (5,100m) you will appropriate the epic mountain view of Himalayan ranges Stay overnight in Guest House in Saga.

Day 3

Day 03: Drive: Saga-Mansarovar Lake-Darchen (4,575m) (450Km drive)

After Breakfast on the way to Darchen you will see the stunning view of the saga valley between Gangdise Range and Himalayan Range. Meanwhile the beautiful grassland and local villages can also be seen cross the Mayomla Pass (5112M) you can enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Naimonanyi (7,694m). Then we are supposed to pass by the holy Lake Manasarover and you will reach the southern foot of Mt. Kailash, the most holy mountain in Tibet.

Day 4

Day 04: Drive directly to Tarpoche and trek to Dhiraphuk (4900Mts/18Km)

Today is the first day of your Kailash Kora which is totally around 53Km. You start your Kora from Darchen and after like 2 hrs walk, you will face Darpo Che where there is a huge prayer flag pole which is annually replaced by the pilgrimages on 15 th of forth Lunar month, known as Saga Dawa festival, As well as Trulku monastery on your leftside up on the hill side. You can also see ibex and blue sheep running in the rocky hillside while you are walking and then you will reach Dhira Phuk which was a monastery before but nowadays you can only see the ruins of the monastery as the monastery was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution.

Day 5

Day 05: Trek to Zutrul Phuk (4750Mts) via crossing Drolma la pass (5200Mts/15KM)

Today is the second of your Kailash Kora which is indeed the hardest day of your three days trek. You will have to climb up to the top of Drolma La pass which is more than 5000Mt. There will be three sloppy hikes to get to the top of Drolma La pass from Dhira Phuk and then pretty steep downhill with rocky path all the way to the valley. On the right side of the downhill path, there is a small lake called Thuje Lake, meaning compassionate lake.Zutrul Phuk was the cave where Mila Repa and Nagro Bonchung debated for their religion sects and nowadays, it is a small monastery.

Day 6

Day 06: Trek to Dharchen and then drive to Mansarovar (Chiu) (4572Mts/465Km)

Today is the easiest and last day of your Kailash kora as you will trek down in the valley with beautiful distant scenery of Rakshas Tal lake .From here you will depart your Yak men and kind Yak and shift to jeeps. You will meet your drivers and continue your tour to Lake Mansarovar. Rest and free afternoon around the lake.

Day 7

Day 07: Manasarovor Lake– Saga (4640Mt/435Km) Plan

They start with the overland journey through the fantastic Tibetan uplands. Today's driving time is between 5-6 hours and on the right side, the mighty eight thousandths such as Annapurna, Manaslu and Shishapangma form an impressive backdrop, inviting time and time again to photo pauses.

Day 8

Day 08: Drive Saga to Kyirong, (2800Mts/197Km.)

You will start your tour at 09:30Am and drive to Kyirong and you can see great Himalayan ranges and one of the most world popular snow mountain called Shisha Bangma (8200Mt) from the top of a pass called Thongla( 5200Mt). Besides a fantastic view of lakePekutso will be appeared on the way.

Day 9

Day 09: Drive to Friendship bridge (20Km) and then continue to Ktm. (1300Mts/150Km)

Drive for 28km distance from Kyirong and meet by our representative from Nepal , clear immigration procedure and obtain your Nepali visa & transfer to Kathmandu . Driving up and down in the forested mountain with beautiful villages on the slops of the both

This trip is mostly soft and comfort in the jeeps/bus except in trekking in Mount Kailash. You’ll need to walk about 5/7 hours day for 3 days while completing the circuit and rest trip is travel by vehicle. Physical fitness is not of major concern in this package as most of the time you will be travelling in coach. However Mount Kailash area is located more than 5000 elevation from the sea level and you need to be prepared for high altitude sickness.

During tour, breakfast is included in the package. You’ll have breakfast at the hotel every day morning and rest meals such as lunch and diners will be on own cost. Mostly you’ll find you’ll Tibetan meals and some continental meals too.

In the package, you’ll be provided with nice and clear room based on twin sharing basis. Guest house in Saga and Kailash are quite basics. If you would like upgrade your hotel to higher class such as star hotel, yes you can. But there will be little extra cost for upgrading hotels in Tibet. And if you would like to have single room during the tour, you can have it by paying single supplement. But it needs to be booked at the time of trip booking.

Yes, you’ll need Tibet visa. It will be paper visa which called group visa or Tibet Travel Permit. We, Tour Experts will arrange all the documentation and invitation for visa. We shall need about 2/5 days for Tibet visa. Required information/document for Tibet visa:  Valid passport with at least 6 month validity  Nepalese visa (visas can be also obtained upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport. For Kailash tour, we shall need little more time than travelling to other places of Tibet. We shall need about 40 days for visa processing. It means you need to book your trip with all the required documents before 40 days of trip starts.

The date of this trip is flexible. Minimum number to run this trip is 10 pax and above. If group is less than 10 people, cost will increased because trip cost is based on 10 pax. Even if group size is less than 10 people, you can join the trip with additional cost.
