Bungy Jump is Nepal’s most spectacular sport. From 160m high free jump towards the Botekhosi river, it is Nepal’s ultimate rush and one of the longest free-falls in the world. Bungy jump is a magical experience you can taste. Bungy jump spot is located on the way to Nepal-Tibet friendship border, just 100 km far from Kathmandu. The name of place is called Panglang and bungy, swing, high ropes and cannoning is also available the resort.
On the day of your jump the jump master will first give a briefing. He then writes your weight on your hand and tells you in which group you will be jumping. If you have any medical problems, please discuss them with the jump master. There are two options offered i.e. one is the regular ‘head first’ bungee jump which is done on rubber rope and provides about 2 to 2.5 seconds of free fall. The second is called swing, which is ‘legs first’ and secures about six seconds of free fall at a speed about 150km/h, and you end up swinging like a pendulum.
