Itineraries
Day 1
Drive: Kathmandu-Pokhara (200km/6/7 hrs drive)
After breakfast in Kathmandu, you’ll pick up from hotel and start drive to Beni. Enroute we will see more of countryside of Nepal that offers greeneries, rivers, villages, farms and beautiful mountain sceneries. (We can also take a scenic 25 min flight to reach Pokhara.) Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, five peaks of Annapurna and others. Pokhara is city of lakes and has numerous beautiful lakes. We can explore the most accessible and beautiful, Fewa Lake during the late afternoon -enjoy boating too. Explore, relax and dine by tranquil Lake Fewa.

Day 2
Drive: Pokhara-Tatopani and shower at Hotspring (110km/5 hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel in Pokhara, you’ll pick up from hotel and start your journey to Beni. First we drive west to the town of Beni with the black top road and then follow the Kali Gandaki River. The road after Beni is off-road. The Kali Gandaki valley is the world’s deepest gorge, between Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) and Annapurna I (8,091 m) Himalaya. Tatopani is a small town where you can experience the natural hot spearing and local activities.

Day 3
Drive: Tatopani- Muktinath Temple-Kagbeni (2900m) (105km/5/6 hours drive)
After breakfast at Tatopani, you’ll continue drive towards to Kagbeni. Today you will drive through local villages of Kalopani, Ghasa and explore the apple farming of Marpha Village and Jomsom local market. Then you will cross Kagbeni village and visit holy temple complex of Muktinath and 108 taps dedicated to lord Vishnun. Also you will visit Jal Devi where you can see the fire lighting itself (Natural gas), the local town of Muktinath, Buddhist monastery in Jharkot with incredible views of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri and Tukuche Peak and and drive to Kagbeni for overnight stay.

Day 4
Drive: Kagbeni-Syangbochen-Ghami (3520m) (32km/5 hrs drive)
Today morning after breakfast you will visit Kagbeni Monastery and Buddhist School. Before living Kagbeni your guide will check-in your special Upper Mustang permit and start your journey to Upper Mustang. At the first you will cross Kaligandaki River near Chhuksang village by Jeep and climb up to Chella Village, Samar Village, Syangboche village, Bhina, Ghiling and arrive at Ghami village.
Today you will have amazing landscape during the day from Syngboche and other places. This is your private trip so you can stop your Jeep anywhere and enjoy with the pictures. Also you will see the local farmer houses with Yak and houses caravan, Tibetan culture and local activities during the day.

Day 5
Drive: Ghami-Lo Mathang (3810m) (17km/3 hrs drive)
After breakfast, today you will visit monastery of Mustang Lo Gekar which is very important monastery in Mustang, then visit Tsarang monastery, visit Lo-Manthang, "Jampa Gompa" the oldest monastery , built in the early 15th century and also known as the "God House", "Thupchen Gompa" a huge, red assembly hall and gompa built in the late 15th century, "Chodey Gompa", now the main city gompa and Monastic Museum. Also you will observe domestic Yaks and cattle caravans, Wonder mountain views and landscape from the passes, Buddhist school, arts, king palace and local activities in Lo-Manthang.

Day 6
Explore around Lo Manthang and Chhosar (3810m)
Today after breakfast you will explore Namgyal Mompa, sky caves of Chhosar and the Shija Jhong cave of Mustang dating back to over 3,000 years have been subject of excavation for archaeologists from around the world. There are other several caves near Chhosar have been used for burial, meditation and also for living. Also till now Sky Burial is used in Upper Mustang which is in Chhosar and nearby villages. After finished the sightseeing of local areas you will drive back to guesthouse by jeep.

Day 7
Drive: Lo Manthang-Jomsom (2720m) (50km/6/7 hrs drive)
After breakfast, you will drive all the way to Jomsom crossing several local villages, Kaligandaki River, Buddhist stupas and monasteries on the way. Evening you will have time to explore local market of Jomsom.

Day 8
Drive: Jomsom-Beni (900m) (96km/6/7 hrs drive)
After breakfast, you’ll drive all the way to Beni from Jomsom. From Jomsom, you will have option to fly out to Pokhara and then fly to Kathmandu. But this needs to finalized before the trip starts.

Day 9
Beni-Kathmandu (1310m) (300km/10 hrs drive)
After early breakfast, today you’ll drive to Kathmandu.
- 1 nights in Pokhara at Kuti Resort or similar hotel with full board basis on twin sharing basis
- 7 nights in local guest houses/lodges during the tour with full board basis on twin sharing basis
- 4WD jeep for whole tour from Kathmandu to Kathmandu

Trip cost is based on twin sharing. You'll share room with one of your same gender team member. If you would like to stay at single room, yes you can.
The more food you eat at altitude the better you´ll perform. Menus for this trek will be mostly ala-carte basis in best available lodges and restaurants. However our trekking guide will help to set out the menu (for big groups). Considering the loss of appetite on the higher altitude, Tour Experts endeavors to choose food items that are testy and easiest to digest at high-altitude. We suggest you to bring your own specialized food if you so desire such as chocolate bars, dry foods etc. We cater to different dietary requirements and full vegetarian menus can be provided on request.
It is mandatory to have good emergency evacuation insurance which will cover evacuation by any means of transportation from high altitude. It is also highly recommended that all member have cancellation insurance in case of an accident prior to departure, or if the trip is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Given trip cost is based on 5 people. So if group size is less or more cost will be different. Please contact us if you need costing for different group size.
